More information about the addition worksheets.
All our worksheets are designed by a professional children's illustrator and a former teacher who are passionate about children's education...they're all free because we care about creating a quality learning experience for all... especially in schools with less funding, and families with less disposable income.
When you click on the images above, you'll go through to a page with a variety of worksheets you can use.
You'll find the following varieties of worksheets so you can get the level right for where you're child is now on their learning journey.
We've been asked often why these are free? It's a fair question. That something doesn't seem right. Looking at the quality it's clear they took time, care, and skill to create them.
We understand the concern. The answer is simple. We want to break the mould. The mould of those with more resources have better supplies, a better experience, and learn better. We want to disrupt the cycle and to do that we need to do something unexpected, different. So we decided to give it a try. Spend significant time on design, and make available for all.
We especially hope that parents with limited resources, public school teachers, those in less prosperous countries, refugee families, those families with less to spend, find and use our worksheets and each child that usually has a lower-class experience doesn't in this case.
You can use these addition worksheets for kindergarten in your schools, homeschool's, or at home.
They can be given as part of a homework pack, can be used at home in the school holidays, or used to go over and check on how well past learning has stuck.
As a parent, you may want to give a little extra practice at home to consolidate the learning in school. You also may want some one on one learning time with your little learner so you can see their progress and praise all the effort they've put in to get there.
If you're going to use a worksheet multiple times you may consider laminating it to save paper and ink.
We love 5 and 6 year old kids and want their experience to be as special as possible. Especially their experience of learning math!
Of course, not everyone learns in the same way and at the same speed... Some kids may fall behind for multiple valid reasons... Whether you decide to try addition in preschool, kindergarten, or grades 1, 2 and beyond, your kids will have a better learning experience with our free worksheets because we've put in extra care and attention with the things that matter to young children.
We've tried to make each one of our worksheets appealing especially to kindergarten children, putting ourselves in their shoes, using fun and engaging images and a variety of tasks including coloring etc.
We try and capture their imagination giving them a reason to broaden their awareness in the real world. Their wellbeing is at the heart of what we do.
We also love the idea of young children being surrounded by great minds, inspiring thoughts, and encouragement. We've selected some of the world's greatest educators and thinkers, and shared their thoughts so this can happen.
We hope that parents and teachers will also sometimes engage in conversations about the quotes, allowing children to explore their own thoughts and ponder the meaning. We believe in the power and potential of children and are keen to plant seeds for their huge growth.

How about laminating these worksheets so you can use them again and again? Simply use a dry-erase marker and wipe off after use with a wet cloth. Great for the classroom, home-schooling, or for lots of practice at home.
We appreciate that schools around the world all work in different ways, at different paces, and do things in different orders. We acknowledge that many different ways of learning can work well, different approaches being more suitable in different cultures and contexts. We believe that sooner is not better than later, and faster is not better than slower. We wish to support everyone in the way they work so if you work differently and we can help, please do get in touch.
